So I come to deviantART one day, like always, expecting to check my deviantWATCH and the Daily Deviations. However, I enter the main page and am confronted with a message preventing me from seeing the front page. I automatically assumed that it was a promotion for the DA summit coming up. However, upon further inspection I found that I was being given a free week trial of the subscription service here at the community. I figured that it was still a promotion and that it was available to everyone for a week, but I had a certain doubt. This doubt originated due to a line in the page saying "deviantART has especially chosen YOU," or something along those lines, and so I figured that maybe I was chosen by some generator. Deciding to dig deeper, I asked a few friends of mine to see if they got the trial as well. They didn't. Perhaps I was chosen by a generator, or maybe I've been noticed here. Either way, I'm greatful to finally understand what the subscription is like and it's a decent service. I'm highly doubtful that I'll actually subscribe because I have far more important things to pay for, but it would be a nice luxury, especially the large thumbnails.
